Early Stage Research Positions in the context of the Marie Curie European Industrial Doctorate (EID) program BCMolMed.
This offer for 3 PhD positions (ESR1-3) is part of the FP7 EID (European Industrial Doctorate program) BCMolMed, which integrates multi-disciplinary expertise from academic and industrial investigators as state of the art training platform on biomarker research and systems biology. The program specifically involves the application of state of the art -omics technologies to investigate biomarkers for bladder cancer recurrence and progression and includes; identifying and testing candidate molecules as well as application of systems biology approaches to decipher molecular pathology and understanding clinical phenotypes. The two main partners are Mosaiques Diagnostics (Germany-industrial-Prof Harald Mischak) and BRFAA (Greece-academic- Dr Antonia Vlahou). The candidate will be seconded by both partners and spend at least 50% of their time in the industrial partner, as outlined in the grant agreement and will be supervised closely by both partners. Short secondments to the 4 associate partners may be also foreseen, as applicable.
