Making sense of the information from genome sequencing: Studying proteins

The proteomics facility is equipped with technologies that serve to support various aspects of protein analysis including protein separation, identification of amino acid sequence and determination of protein differential expression. At the heart of the facility is an interdisciplinary team of highly skilled scientists that provide access to up-to date experimental protocols and tools for data analysis and interpretation. Training workshops on the use of two-dimensional electrophoresis and liquid chromatography systems in combination to a wide array of mass spectrometry platforms, for the academic community are regularly organized.
