The founding principle of BRFAA is to host both basic and clinical research thus providing an ideal setting for the emergence of translational activities. BRFAA is one of the few institutions in Europe with such a character and certainly unique in Greece. The goal of BRFAA is to achieve excellence through the recruitment of high quality investigators carrying out cutting-edge research, and the establishment of state-of-the-art research facilities. BRFAA consists of 4 Research Institutes specialized in different aspects of Biomedical Research.
