The Biomedical Research Foundation of the Academy of Athens (BRFAA) is rapidly progressing with the implementation of the project «SUB6. ΙΙΒΕΑΑ – Αναβάθμιση υποδομών ερευνητικών κέντρων εποπτείας Γενική Γραμματεία Έρευνας και Καινοτομίας».

The project involves the creation of ultra-modern research infrastructures, specifically:

• BSL3+ Biosafety Laboratory: Enhancing the capacity for handling high-risk pathogens.
• Radiogenomics Unit: Integrating imaging and genomic data for breakthrough biomedical insights.

This strategic upgrade significantly boosts national capabilities in diagnosis, epidemiological surveillance, and innovative biomedical research.
