REVISED ANNOUNCEMENT

Announcement  for expression of interest for one position of graduate student and one position of postdoctoral fellow at the laboratory of Histology of the Biomedical Research Foundation Academy of Athens (BRFAA).

Interested students are invited to apply for one position of graduate student and one position of postdoctoral fellow. These positions are part of a recently funded program ARISTEIA with the title “Renal Fibrosis” and with Principal Investigator Dr. A. Charonis.

The program is expected to begin between September and December 2012 and it will last for 36 months. The total monthly salary is 750 € for the graduate student and 1.600 €for the postdoctoral fellow. 

Graduate students already having a Master’s Degree (or being very close to be awarded a Master’s degree) are appropriate for these positions. Postdoctoral fellows are expected to have a Ph.D or an M.D. degree. Previous experience in Biochemical and Molecular Biology techniques is mandatory. Previous experience in proteomic and immunohistochemical techniques is desirable. Fluency in English is required.
