This is a Call of Interest for one (1) post-doctoral position in the 5-year Research Programme RiskyCAD funded by the European Commission and coordinated by the Biomedical Research Foundation of the Academy of Athens with principal investigator Dr E. Andreakos.

The post-doctoral fellow will be involved in the study of new biomarkers for the prediction of myocardial infarction, and will contribute to the coordination of the research programme, the compliance of Partners with the scientific deliverables and the compilation, review and submission of the scientific reports.

The ideal candidate should have

1. Degree and PhD in Biology, Biophysics or Physics
2. Work experience/training abroad
3. Excellent communication skills in English
4. Publications in peer-reviewed international journals.

Experience in the assessment of biomarkers in serum/plasma, the development of certified diagnostic tests, or/and the compilation of scientific reports will be an advantage.

The duration will be for 1 year with the possibility for extension.
