The Biomedical Research Foundation of the Academy of Athens (BRFAA) is interested in employing one post-doctoral fellow for the research programme ARISTEIA-STOCHAGEN entitled “The Role of Stochastic Epigenetic Interactions in the Coordination of the Human Antiviral Response”. The position is funded by the General Secretariat for Research and Technology.

Successful candidates should have a degree on Biological Sciences or Chemistry or Biochemistry or Molecular Biology and a PhD degree in the fields of Biochemistry or Molecular Biology or Cellular Biology.  The researcher will work on the stochastic mechanism driving NF-kB-dependent gene expression in response to viral infections.

The duration of the position is for 12 months with the possibility of extension for up to 36 months.
