On February 28, 2018,  Dana-Farber Cancer Institute  world-class Cancer Institute welcomed the Biomedical Research Foundation Acacademy of Athens  to a major charity event that was hosted at Harvard University. The purpose of the event was to support research activities at BRFAA and ally the faculty and services of both institutes (Harvard and BRFAA).

The former Greek Prime Minister and past President of the Academy of Athens, Mr. Loucas Papadimos was one of the guests of honor at the event. BRFAA was represented by the President of the Scientific Board, Dimitrios Thanos, Academician and the President of BRFAA Society, “Friends of BRFAA” and CEO of Diana Shipping Co., Mr. Simos Palios

The event was attended by prominent Greeks from the Greek homogeneity and other internationally acclaimed individuals.
