The Laboratory Animal Unit of BRFAA was awarded the Animal Technology and Welfare 2018 Journal Prize for the paper, “Synchronisation of oestrous cycle on C57BL/6J mice after the introduction of a hanging perforated container with bedding soaked by the excretions of male mice”

This publication proposes a technique that refines the synchronization of the estrus cycle on mice, avoiding the use of hormonal formulations.
