BRFAA is interested in employing two (2) PhD candidates for the research programme SYNERGASIA entitled “Mechanisms of induction of pluripotent cells: from transcriptional noise to therapies using stem cells (NOISEPLUS)” in the division of Molecular Biology, Centre of Basic Research II, Biomedical Research Foundation of the Academy of Athens (BRFAA).
Successful candidates will work on the transcriptional circuits of iPS cells and on the role of the deterministic and stochastic molecular mechanisms driving cellular reprogramming.
Necessary prerequisites:
Experience in the use and Molecular Biology and stem cell-related techniques. The duration of the position is 12 months with the possibility of extension.
